Catholic Homeschooling

I just learned to design websites. www.donnacorigibson.com is my second one. I have not, however, had the time to figure out how to do blogging properly. That will come soon. In the meantime, I will just type in a current message from time to time. I want to include info/updates on Catholic Homeschooling, as that occupies the bulk of my time. Marie is in 5th grade and Chris in Kindergarten. Grace is only 2 and is very demanding, so I have to come up with creative ways to keep her busy while I work with the others. Lately, it's been a water table in the kitchen. I got the idea from one of the moms at our Catholic Homeschoolers Mom's meetings this month (from which tidbits of valuable information I'd also like to share monthly under a category here called simply "Catholic Homeschooling"). Boy, does this table work. Instead of spending $150.00-$300.00 (seriously, that's what they cost) on a wooden one from a Montessori catalogue, I just set up an adjustable table, very low, in my kitchen and put a wide flat basin with an inch and a half of water in it and gave her some spoons, cups, play dishes, etc. to play with (a towel on the floor to keep her from slipping) and viola! Instant babysitter! I'm trilled!My next big project is giving birth in August of '08 with baby number four. Check back for an update! God Bless!
