A great Charity! - CFCA

I was introduced recently to a great CATHOLIC sponsorship program called The Christian Foundation for Children and Aging. That's right, old people who can't care for themselves are included in this CATHOLIC charity. Did I mention it was CATHOLIC? They are not afraid of sharing the good news of our Catholic faith with these extremely poor people. I had sponsored children in the past through Christian Children's Fund, but what I like about this organization is that, aside from being Catholic, it allows you to communicate like a member of the family with the sponsored. My own two children picked one child each to sponsor - my son pick a boy his own age that he could relate to and likewise with my daughter. I figure this was the best way to show them how blessed we are in this country and that this is not the norm for most of the world's population. Maybe they will stop begging me for yet another webkinz. CFCA's website is liked to the title of this post and their blog is http://blog.cfcausa.org and listed in my favorite blogs on the side bar.
